Taoing Taoaba is the founding owner of Taoaba & Associates, TA Law Firm.
Taoing obtained a Tertiary Education at the Kiribati Institute of Technology and started her career working at the House of Parliament of Kiribati.
She also studied full-time at the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Fiji and later on in Vanuatu, graduating with LLB. Taoing also obtained her professional Diploma in Legal Practice at USP and worked at the Judiciary with the Office of the People's Lawyer, having been admitted to the Bar in Kiribati.
She has attended various training opportunities and workshops including a one-week advocacy training in Christchurch New Zealand, a one week workshop on Human Rights training in Fiji and a one week Asia Pacific Human Rights Advocacy training in Darwin, Australia.
In 2012, she became a member of the Kiribati Chamber of Commerce Industry (KCCI). She also became Vice President of the KCCI between 2016 and 2019 and was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Broadcasting and Publications Authority.
